Use the search fields to find details about homicide and missing person cases. Each category helps narrow results and locate accurate, verified information quickly.

The Date of Incident refers to the confirmed date the homicide occurred or the last verified date a missing person was seen. This information is based on factual and documented evidence.

Note on Incident Time:
When the time of an incident is unknown or unconfirmed, it is automatically listed as 12:00 AM (Midnight). This timestamp is used as a placeholder and does not indicate that the incident occurred at midnight. It simply confirms that the event took place at some point on the specified date.

Enter the first and last name of the victim or missing person.

The State and City identify the location where the homicide took place or the last known location where the missing person was seen.

The Case Type categorizes the nature of the case and will be listed as one of the following:

  • Homicide
  • Missing Person
  • Missing, Suspected Homicide (used when evidence strongly suggests the individual is deceased)

The Link to Case provides direct access to a detailed case page containing additional information about the missing or murdered individual.

The Year of Incident indicates the year the homicide occurred or the last year the missing person was seen. This field helps users easily filter and organize cases by year.
