Independent Detective Update

New Features, Easier Searching, and Monthly Case Reminders

We have made several updates to Independent Detective to make the site easier to search, easier to read, and easier for visitors to share information.

What’s New

Independent Detective now includes a new Subscribe section so visitors can receive free updates when new cases are added, important changes are made, or future newsletters are released.

We have also added a new Submit a Tip or Information page. This gives visitors a dedicated place to share memories, photos, corrections, links, observations, or other details that may help bring attention back to a case.

The overall layout has also been updated to make case pages easier to read, search tools easier to use, and case information easier to review across all devices.

Upcoming Newsletters and Update Posts

Going forward, we plan to release regular update posts or newsletters. These may be monthly or weekly depending on how much new information is available.

Future updates will include newly added cases, changes to existing case files, and any important developments if new information becomes available.

Monthly Case Reminders

We will also begin highlighting cases connected to each month. These reminders are meant to help keep past cases visible and give continued attention to the people and families connected to them.

Each month, we will feature cases associated with that month so they remain in public memory and are not forgotten.
